Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Unitze handles information in connection with Cuefy (cuefy.unitze.net) and the Cuefy+ Chrome extension (collectively, the "Service").
The purpose of the Service is to display the user's currently playing music on an OBS overlay in real time. We collect and use data only to the extent necessary for this purpose.
Data Collected by the Cuefy+ Extension
The Cuefy+ extension collects only the following data. No personally identifiable information is collected.

From the music service pages the extension accesses (YouTube Music, Apple Music, Deezer, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, Tidal), only the currently playing track metadata is read. No account information, browsing history, search history, or other personal data is collected.
All data is stored only on the user's local device (chrome.storage.local) or within the user's own Cuefy account. Data is never sold or shared with third parties.
Data Collected by the Cuefy Web Service
When you log in to cuefy.unitze.net, the following data is collected.
- •Discord account info: user ID, username, and avatar URL obtained via Discord OAuth 2.0. Passwords are never stored.
- •Overlay settings: template, colors, fonts, and other display preferences.
- •Overlay token: a random string used to authenticate the OBS browser source URL.
- •Stripe billing info: only if you subscribe to Cuefy+ Premium. Payment card details are managed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
How We Use Your Data
Collected data is used only for the following purposes.
- •User authentication and session management
- •Real-time delivery of now-playing track data to the OBS overlay
- •Saving and restoring overlay customization settings
- •Premium subscription management via Stripe
- •Service stability improvements and abuse prevention
We do not use your data for marketing purposes, sell it to third parties, or build user profiles.
Data Storage and Security
- •Web service data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) and managed on Cloudflare's infrastructure.
- •Extension data is stored only within the user's browser (chrome.storage.local).
- •All communications are encrypted via HTTPS.
- •Deleting your account removes all associated data from our service. This can be done from the settings page.
